Instructor | Luca Apel

Luca is a self taught artist and recent UVic graduate who focuses on realism and painting beyond the canvas. His work showcases nature and the tiny creatures our hectic lives often overlook. He is a long time artist and volunteer with the Victoria Arts Council, and sells stickers of his original paintings at ECAH and Subtext at UVic. Outside of art, Luca is a queer and trans advocate, law student, and doting cat dad.

Course Description | Creating Hanging Mobiles

Join the ESQ Crafters at this fun morning session in the park. We’ll be building hanging mobiles that will be uniquely yours! All supplies are provided.

Fees & Options

  • No cost - this program is paid for by the ESQ Crafters and the Victoria Foundation

COVID-19 Safety Measures

  • All students must pre-register, drop-ins will be permitted on a case-by-case basis

  • Participants must wear a mask when approaching communal areas or tables

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own

  • Supplies have been sanitized with an alcohol-based solution before class

  • Families and participants must sit 6’ apart
