Stenciled Zine Workshop with Supply Victoria | EWMF

Upcycled Tetrapak Printmaking Workshop | EWMF

Discover the art of eco-friendly printmaking with our hands-on Tetra Pak Printmaking Workshop!
Whether you're a seasoned artist or just starting out, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in sustainable art practices. In this workshop, you'll learn how to transform recycled Tetra Pak cartons into beautiful, unique prints. Our instructors Claire Jorgensen and Sophie Tarrant will guide you through the entire process, from preparing your Tetra Pak plate to creating your design, inking, and printing your masterpiece. 🌈
Juggling Performance and Workshop | EWMF
No Registration Required
The focus of this workshop will be dedicated to teaching the 3 ball cascade, the fundamentals of Juggling, and to inspire those interested to take up the life changing hobby of juggling.
Intended for beginner to intermediate levels, but all are welcome! You are sure to learn a new trick or two.
Juggling balls will be provided for participants who wish to join in on the lesson!
Dano will show you the basics of how to get started on your own juggling journey, and if you are a quick learner, you'll walk away from the workshop with a lot more than just the basics!
Those that participate in the workshop, will walk away with their very own set of practice juggling balls, made by Dano himself!

"Landscapes of home”: An art {therapy} workshop | EWMF
MUST REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE
Growing community by fostering connection with self, each other and land. This workshop will offer space to experiment with perspective and creativity challenging the dominant narrative of self as separate from the natural world. In this engaging process we will play with how we see and perceive the landscapes of place and self through photography and art making using pen, charcoal and paper, as well as felt and natural fibers.
"Tapestree": Community Textile Art Workshop | EWMF
MUST REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE
The "Textile Tree" community textile art workshop is an introduction to the art of tapestry for all ages, from 6-year-olds to adults.
Participants will use a small cardboard loom, which they can take home, and various colors of wool to create their own compositions at their own pace.The workshop aims to create a community art installation where participants display their tapestries on a 'textile tree,' forming a unique collective visual composition.

2024 Urban Arts Tour
Lace up those shoes, pump up those bike tires and join in the 2024 Urban Arts Tour! The Urban Arts Tour is an annual outdoor self-guided tour now in its 5th year, featuring local gardens and artists. We’ve paired talented visual artists with some of Esquimalt’s most impressive gardens for a unique, family-friendly day of adventure.

Origami at the Gorge
ECAH is thrilled to be back running crafts at the Esquimalt Gorge Farmer’s Market this summer! We’ll be there holding free crafts for kids every second week starting opening night (June 17th). Week one we’re doing Origami Hearts! (Don’t worry, we’ll also have crayons & colouring for the tiny tykes)

Block Print Patch Making Workshop
In this workshop you will learn the basics of block printing on fabric to make sew-on patches for your clothing. You can try printing using Gloomybunz blocks, and then if you like you can try carving and printing your own!

The Breakfast Club - Who Owns Ai Generated Art?

In this session, we will discuss the existing legislation surrounding Ai art, interesting cases making their way through the system (did you know Getty images is suing Stable Diffusion?), and the benefits (and limitations!) of copyright protection.
