Claire is an artist and illustrator. She works with watercolour, gouache, pen and ink and much of her work aims to depict the deep interconnectivity of humans and animals as beautiful, destructive, hopeful, and helpless.
Event Description | PAINT OUT! Migration Mural - Priming
Join us at the first-ever Esquimalt Mural Festival community paint out! We need many hands to help us prime our Migration mural wall going at the Tudor House Liquor Store.
Sign up for a 2-hour time slot where you’ll be helping our muralist prime the wall. Wear clothes that are ok to get paint on them and come ready for some sun. Wear a hat, sunscreen and bring some water with you.
Washrooms are not available on-site, but are nearby at the Esquimalt Rec Centre.

Accessibility
The site is at ground level, immediately off the street. There is parking 20’ away from the mural wall.
The wall is located on a grassy field, but it is not very bumpy.
There is a curb from the parking lot to the field, however there are sloped areas of the sidewalk and pavement for those with mobility challenges.
Participants can contribute to the painting from a seating or standing position and require movement of one or both of their arms.
