Course Description | Loom Weaving

Join the talented folks from Knotty By Nature in this frame loom weaving workshop. You’ll learn the basics of tapestry weaving, from warping your loom to mounting it and everything in between! You will leave this class with a finished wall hanging of your own design.

COVID-19 Safety Measures

  • Proof of vaccination is required upon entry to the workshop; participants must show either a B.C.-issued QR code or a paper card with government issued ID at the door

  • All students must pre-register, no drop-ins will be permitted

  • Students must wear a mask at all times inside ECAH and during the course

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry

  • Desks have been sanitized with an alcohol-based solution before class

  • Desks must be sanitized after each class

  • Students are seated 6’ apart

  • We ask that all students and visitors to ECAH do their best to social distance at all times

Accessibility

  • There are two easy-access parking spots directly in front of 901 Esquimalt Road. Please leave these spots for those with mobility issues.

  • Our washroom can accommodate a wheelchair or other mobility device, and is gender-neutral.

  • Our tables are 5’ long and can be moved as needed. There are no steps into the building.

  • Our doors are not currently automated, but a staff member can assist you if needed

  • If you have concerns about visiting, please contact us and we can arrange a walk-through with you.

  • ECAH is a welcoming place for people of all backgrounds and lived experiences. We invite your direction on how we can best accommodate your individual needs and will work collaboratively to ensure ECAH is an accessible space.
