The "Textile Tree" community textile art workshop is an introduction to the art of tapestry for all ages, from 6-year-olds to adults. 

Participants will use a small cardboard loom, which they can take home, and various colors of wool to create their own compositions at their own pace.
The workshop aims to create a community art installation where participants display their tapestries on a 'textile tree,' forming a unique collective visual composition.

This workshop will be lead by Isabel González Quiroz, and is brought to you as part of the East West Mural Fest!

When: Sunday, August 25, 2-5 PM

Ages: 6+ (children must be accompanied by an adult!)
